Our October speaker is organising some events relating to his research, part of the Meaningful Consent in the Digital Economy project whose goals are to understand, re-imagine and re-engineer personal data, privacy and consent.

Curious about what your web browsing says about you? Or which companies are tracking you as you browse the web? Join us for an evening of science, revelations and free pizza as we uncover your invisible online identity!

The Web Mirror is a public engagement project from the University of Southampton. We help members of the public to understand how companies track their web browsing, what that information can be used for, and how to opt out of it.

Events will be running at the following times:

  • Thursday 18th August 12:45
  • Thursday 18th August 18:45

Events will take place at the University of Southampton, Highfield Campus (SO17 1BJ).
